Prince George's County Courthouse

A monumental, colored concrete mural, depicts a triumphant Justice surviving a fire that nearly destroyed Prince George's County Courthouse. Placed on an interior wall in the Duvall Wing of the newly rebuilt courthouse, a patined copper frame, made from the remains of the original copper courthouse roof, encloses the concrete mural. The powerful image of Justice overcoming adversity reminds visitors that justice will prevail, even in the face of tragedy.
