As part of the I-35 Corridor Widening Project, U.S. 77 Interchange illustrates Oklahoma's Cross Timbers ecoregion, which is comprised mostly of prairies. Aesthetic treatments for this bridge were realized with the use of our high-quality rubber form liners and stamps to create stylized prairie grass patterns across the wing walls, piers, parapets, and slopewalls. In select locations, Oklahoma's state bird, the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, appears to soar above the grass blades. Even without specialty stain enhancements and only a 2" relief, the intricate details created by our in-houses artists make these patterns appear three-dimensional and lifelike.
